Just came back from C2C festival in London UK where we had Chris Young, The Band Perry, Rascall Flatts and some guy called Brad Paisley??
Brad was amazing as usual in London, what a show man. Firstly I want to thank the FC for the meet and greet. There were loads of people which was nice that he takes the time to see so many people. As I guessed we were told we were having a pre signed item which I knew from last time but was unsure it would be the same but it was. We were told one photo and he wont sign personally but has already done some. Everyone respected that apart from one guy who asked for his cd to be signed and of course Brad obliged. I thought thisguy was rude and disrespectful, it would be like someone coming in to my home and being asked to take off shoes and just walking right on in with them on refusing to remove shoes. (best comparison I could think of with not being famous myself). Anyway Brad was lovely and shook my hand and thanked me for coming to which I said no thank you and that I was looking forward to the show. I then told him I was also a big fan of his wife as I am, she is a great actress. He then said bye. Then of course his show was spectacular as usual. He started with Southern Comfort Zone which is my fav off of Wheelhouse. His wit was top form again and his attempt at a British accent was very funny. When he sang I'm still a guy he sang These days there's dudes gettin' facials (Chris Young) Manicured, waxed and botoxed (Gary la Vox) With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands (Joe Don Rooney) that was very funny. He also came on with Chris Young and sang Whisky Lullaby with The Band Perry which was amazing, of course no one can vocally beat Alison Krauss but Kimberley did a damn good job. He ended with Alcohol which as usual was the perfect ending.
